Early morning Cambridge accident results in death of pedestrian

An East Boston man is dead following an early morning collision in East Cambridge on April 3. The car accident occurred near the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Land Boulevard where the 67-year-old man was walking, according to police. The pedestrian was pronounced dead after he was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital following the crash. West Dennis pedestrian struck by an alleged drunk driver

On the evening of Feb. 6, a pedestrian was hit on Stanton Avenue in the city of South Yarmouth. The accident occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. when an allegedly drunk driver hit the man, causing serious injuries. The driver has recently had charges brought against him for his role in the car accident. The 30-year-old pedestrian was transported to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Yarmouth police reported that he was transported by a MedFlight helicopter. Drunk driver charged for hitting man in park

Four months ago, a 71-year-old man was struck by a drunk driver while sleeping on a bench at GAR Park in Haverhill. Authorities have charged a 66-year-old Methuen man for the car accident, which resulted in the loss of the victim’s finger as well as injuries to his hip, shoulder and ribs. The driver allegedly shattered the bench and also damaged a Korean War memorial in the park. Witnesses report that the driver paused for approximately 30 seconds after colliding with the memorial. Police investigate Framingham hit-and-run

A 58-year-old man was crossing the intersection of Blandin Avenue and Beaver Street in Framingham when he became the victim in a hit-and-run car accident. Witnesses report that a blue Toyota sedan traveling approximately 30 mph hit the man. The driver did not stop at the scene. The victim was taken to the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. His current condition is unknown.
