Commuters around Boston may have been affected by a deadly car crash that occurred near routes 5 and 10 during late December 2013. An 84-year-old man from Westfield died in the motor vehicle accident. The vehicles collided at the intersection of Elm Street and North King Street, at the Exit 21 off-ramp on I-91 in Northampton. Massachusetts head-on collision kills 1

One person was killed and another injured in a head-on collision in Deerfield Nov. 4. The car accidenttook place at 520 River Road minutes after 3:00 p.m. According to investigators, the crash trapped both drivers inside their vehicles. One driver, an 83-year-old Montague woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other, a 19-year-old male, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Driver charged with DUI by Massachusetts State Police

State police allege that a two-car accident was caused by a drunk driver. The accident took place at approximately 5:45 p.m., during rush hour, on the Massachusetts Turnpike in the eastbound lane close to the East Mountain Road underpass on Aug. 20. According to Massachusetts State Police, the motor vehicle accident caused traffic delays for around one hour and injured one person. The condition of the injured person is not known. Man injured in motor vehicle accident at pizza eatery

A driver has been cited in a crash that injured a patron inside Papa Gino’s pizza restaurant. The allegedly negligent driver is a 73-year-old Massachusetts resident who left the roadway following a rear-end collision with another auto. The driver reportedly attempted to hit the brakes in his Ford F-150, and a Brockton police sergeant followed up by stating that the driver appeared to have instead pressed the accelerator.
