Estate Administration

When a person dies, their probate assets are distributed in accordance with one of two paths. If the person dies with a Will, then that Will is probated through the Probate Court system in the county where they last lived and or where they left property. If a person dies without a Will, then their property is distributed in accordance with what is known as the “intestate” statute of the state where they died and or left property.

Although much of the probate process is established by the law, our experienced probate attorneys will work with you to manage the process, helping you to understand the procedures, the time deadlines and the steps necessary to pay all debts and make a efficient distribution of assets.
